Flint Hills Resources earned the Platinum Safety Award from the International Liquid Terminals Association for outstanding safety performance and leadership.

The Pine Bend Refinery will receive the highest recognition – the Award of Honor – for exceptional accomplishment in reduction of injuries and illnesses in the workplace. On May 4, refinery employees reached one year without an OSHA recordable injury – a record for the facility. This represents 1,850,000 labor-hours worked without a recordable injury.

Students experience science at St. John’s

Students at St. John's Lutheran School in Norwood Young America take part in the Science Museums of Minnesota's Chemistry Matters program, sponsored by Flint Hills Resources.  One goal of the program, which reaches schools throughout the state, is to enhance students' interest in the study of matter and energy.
