BioBrad is president and chief executive officer of Flint Hills Resources, LLC, a leading producer of fuels, petrochemicals and other petroleum products such as base oils for lubricants and asphalt. With more than 3,700 employees, Flint Hills Resources strives to create value for customers and society.

Flint Hills Resources, based in Wichita, Kan., has expanded its operations through capital projects and acquisitions worth more than $3 billion since 2003. It owns and operates refineries in Alaska, Minnesota and Texas that produce a wide range of refined products. The company has focused on meeting growing customer demand in the Midwest and Texas, completing projects to expand refining and pipeline capacities. The company’s growing petrochemicals business includes production facilities located in Illinois, Michigan and Texas. These plants produce about 10 billion pounds of aromatics, intermediate and commodity chemicals annually.

Flint Hills also has investments in strategic common carrier and proprietary pipelines and a 50 percent interest in Excel Paralubes, a base oil production facility in Westlake, La.

Brad, who began his career with a Koch company in 1985, was executive vice president of supply and marketing prior to being named to his current role in 2005. Previous roles included vice president of northern tier marketing for Koch Petroleum Group, L.P., which was restructured to form Flint Hills Resources and Koch Supply & Trading in 2002. He also served in leadership roles with Koch Materials Company and Koch Oil Co., Ltd. Brad started his career with Koch companies in distribution and sales for Koch Carbon, Inc., which markets petroleum coke and coal to a variety of industries.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan.

Flint Hills Resources is an indirect, wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, Inc. Koch companies have a presence in nearly 60 countries and employ about 80,000 people.
