* The year over year increases in hazardous waste generated are due to site-specific projects. The increase from 2005 to 2006 was a result from a large turnaround completed at the Corpus Christi refining complex. The 2007 increase resulted from a wastewater centrifuge project at Pine Bend.
**Waste recycled from the Minnesota refinery increased in 2007 as the solids from the centrifuge project were recycled.
