Code of Conduct Overview

CODE OF CONDUCT
To assist employees in applying the MBM® Guiding Principles to daily business activities, the company has adopted a Code of Conduct. Our employees are charged with working to understand the Code and to make continuous improvement toward our 10,000 percent compliance goal of 100 percent of employees fully complying 100 percent of the time.

The Code is intended to be consistent with legal obligations globally, including those under collective bargaining agreements and any other applicable laws. If there is an inconsistency between the Code and any applicable law or collective bargaining agreement provision, FHR will comply first with the law or agreement.

EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES
At Flint Hills Resources, employees are given the fundamental responsibility to do the right thing in the right way. Employees are never authorized to act unethically or illegally, even when doing so may seem to be in the best interest of the company or if a supervisor has directed him or her to do so. Employees are also expected to report possible violations or concerns. The FHR GuideLine, available to employees around-the-clock, is answered by confidential, trained, third-party communication specialists. Questions and concerns may be raised anonymously. We are committed to identifying and correcting wrongdoing wherever it may occur. All reported concerns are promptly assessed and an appropriate response determined. All employees are expected to cooperate fully with investigative efforts. To the extent possible, confidentiality will be maintained consistent with legal and ethical responsibilities. All employees are prohibited from retaliating against anyone who, in good faith, reports or supplies information about a possible violation or concern.
